I just got an email from HBO and it looks like my "Battle of the Trident" illustration is featured on the fan art wall in the traveling Game of Thrones Exhibition! Addison's work is figurative, detailed, and focused on atmosphere and character design. He began drawing from an early age and continued to spend countless hours illustrating his own narratives of fantastic heroes and devious villains. Through digital painting and pen and ink drawings Addison has been drawing guys in armor wielding swords since 1994, that’s 19 years! His childhood was split between Seattle and the San Juan Islands where the natural beauty furthered his inspiration to create art.
His work is strongly influenced by his love of mythology, comics, and epic fantasy. Addison has created concept art for video games, trading cards, comics, storyboards, and mobile games.
Addison graduated from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2012 and is currently living in Portland, OR where he works as a freelance illustrator and concept artist.
